[From Julie] Here is your chance to share a little bit of your marriage adventure. We are looking for funny / cute / pathetic pictures of Christmases past. Something of you and your significant other from a previous Christmas that we could share on the blog. Email your photos to me before December 16 at midnight with a brief story about what’s going on or what you love about the picture.
We’ll share the best of them the week before Christmas. Up for grabs is a $50 gift certificate to the Lake House Restaurant in Vineland. (If you win and you are from farther away Noel and I will use it and we’ll send you a $50 gift card to something you can use).
I’ll start things off with a couple of my own. Above you see one of our favourites. Noel was a parent volunteer with Jacob’s class in Kindergarten and they were making Christmas tree ornaments at the Grimsby Museum. Noel wanted Jacob to stand on his chair so he could get a picture with the final product. The instant before the camera flashed Jacob’s teacher hollered out, “Jacob! Sit down!!” The response is all Jacob.
This one is a glimpse of Christmas with four kids in the house six and under. It makes me tired looking at it. I chuckle though whenever I see the pictures from these days with no ornaments on the bottom half of the tree. Ah yes, Christmas with two year olds. Still miss it, sort of.
